TOBY (17-075) is a 9 month old, 62 lb Golden from Egypt. He was abandoned at a vet’s office after having his back leg removed however, having only 3 legs doesn’t slow Toby down. He gets along very well with the other dogs in his foster home but cats are an unknown. Toby loves to play ball in the house and outside. He’s still a bit apprehensive on the stairs (going up or down) but he practices regularly and is doing a lot better since his arrival. Toby is a quick learner and he’s been watching the other dogs get on the couch; he’s just about got it down and is mastering this skill. He loves riding in the car and is working on getting in by himself. Toby will need some work on leash; he tends to pull for the first part of his walk but settles in nicely as he goes along. House training started off slowly but he’s got it down now. Being a typical puppy he loves to explore and get all the hugs he can. A fenced in yard would be good for him as he loves to play outdoors with the family. Toby is very active so it might be best if his forever home has no kids or older kids. This sweet boy would thrive in a home where someone could be home most of the day. Hopefully you’re the one for him!
