ANNUAL MEETING
Please join us for our Annual Meeting on Sunday, March 1, 2020, from Noon until 2 pm, to talk about all things GRREAT or golden retriever.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about GRREAT, meet other golden retriever lovers, and share your thoughts and expectations with the Board!
Agenda:
- The year in review: Listen to reports of the Officers and Coordinators.
- Election of Officers: This year we are electing The Vice President and the Secretary serve the next two years.
- Q&A: Let the Board know what you are thinking.
- Refreshments: For sustenance after a vigorous discussion.
Location:
- McLean Government Center, 1437 Balls Hill Rd., McLean VA 22101.
- When you walk in the main door the community room is to your right. There will be signs.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the facility.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS
It’s time to cast your ballot in the 2020 elections of officers for the GRREAT Board of Directors.
A total of two board positions are up for election this year – Vice President and Secretary. You can vote for either or both positions. Officers are elected to the GRREAT Board by the entire membership. Voting is open only to paid-up members.
Why Vote?
The Vice President and Secretary play an important role in communicating membership views and opinions; participating in day-to-day affairs; and setting strategic direction for the rescue.
Voting Process:
You may vote in one of two ways:
- Vote electronically by clicking on the attached ballot. Electronic voting will be open until 5 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.
- Vote in person at the annual meeting of the organization, to be held in McLean, Virginia, at Noon on Sunday, March 1, 2020.
Even if you plan on attending the annual meeting in person, we encourage you to vote electronically in advance to ensure that your vote will be represented should you be unable to attend. If voting electronically, please refrain from voting at the meeting, should you decide to attend.
